I have been working with children for the past 23 years. I started my training in Child Development while attending high school. I completed the classes for child development 1, 2, & 3 and upon graduation in 1990 I began working as a camp counselor. By the spring of 1991, I received my 90 hours of course work and experience. I started working with children between the ages of 2 - 4 and after working with them for 2 years, I decided to further my education by taking the 45 hour infant and toddler course. I have also taken many workshops and child care courses over the years. After working in group care for 23 years I thought I would try a more one on one approach to care giving with one great family. At a very young age I knew I wanted to work with children, to help them learn and develop, to see them grow and experience the world around them.
