I am a father myself with 2 children I do not get to see because of my ex wife's religion, I used to be a medic firefighter ,coach of a karate,football , wrestling, and teacher to students about life no matter what age. I enjoy the watching kids grow under discipline and structure, but at the same time letting them having fun doing it, In this case it means being creative and capturing their attention so they want to learn instead of (1) being forced to , (2) maybe obligation, (3) they just plum don't want to. As for nutrition I have been an assistant chef and cook for many years as well as a nutrition guru for all of my students I believe that if you capture their attention in other ways other than i.e video games it can be much more fulfilling for the child on a learning basis. I do carry a degree in social science and willing to devote a proper structure and loving environment to enable the children to thrive.
