About Me: Hey my name is Alexis. I'm seeking a baby sitter position near the Johns Creek /Alpharetta / Duluth area. I love working with children & have been doing so for a very long time. I’m the go-to for all of my family & friends. Starting with my very own siblings (3 of them) at the age of 12 in Buford, GA, I would see us all off to school, along with keeping the house clean, cooking & managing all activities like soccer & cheerleading. In Woodbridge, VA I assisted with an at home daycare of about 10-12 kids. We fixed the kids breakfast, lunch & two snacks in between, went on field trips to places like water parks, museums & the movies, held fun developing classes & activities plus more. My most recent children were cared for at my home; my sister in-law’s two baby boys, ages 2 & 5. On & off; I guess you can say I’m on call, providing childcare for my friends, family friends & friends of friends. Cooking is not my specialty, so meal prep & Pinterest are my best friends. My specialties are organization, fun, learning ideas/activities, and just the natural knack for kids. I genuinely enjoy childcare, I'm just one of those people! I enjoy being a positive influence in a child’s life, assisting in their growth, passions & creative developments. I am looking for childcare opportunities where I can babysit from home, only because I'm still taking care of my brothers and sisters before and after school. breakfast, lunch, and dinner are already a part of my daily routine, along with drop-off and pick-up. They are older so they don't need much of my time which is why.
