I am a 21 year old female. I have worked with children since I was 15. I have always tried my best to make sure the children are happy, but some times safety come first. I have worked with infants all the way up to second grade. For the younger ones I keep track of when they last ate and last dipper change and how long each nap is. The older the child is less keep track of that and more of if they are playing safely, if they are looking well or not, and most importantly turning clean up time into a game so that they have fun the whole time. I help teach how to tie shoes, zip zippers, and buckle belts. Anything that is specific that the child needs I will read on and do everything I can to give them the best care I can.
