I've attached a copy of my cover letter - showing my employer while I was raising my son and I feel I would provide excellent care: To Whom It May Concern: The last position I held was department assistant at Kennewick General Hospital(now Trios). I was responsible for registering all new/return patients, scheduling new/return patient appointments, collection of payments for services and deposit, maintaining the department petty cash fund, maintaining patient visit statistics and demographics for weekly, monthly and yearly submission to the accounting department as well as for use in our diabetes program certification. I was responsible for ordering all clinical/office supplies, maintaining manual patient record system, answering multi-line phone system, responsible for assisting in preparation of department materials for eight educators and any other duties as assigned. Previous to the above stated position, I was the human resource assistant where I was given the task of making employee badges and/or visitor badges (e.g., vendors, instructors, etc.). I was responsible for submitting to accounting executive staff mileage reimbursements as well as making travel arrangements for executive staff. I was responsible for the conference room calendar in booking a year in advance all community education offerings, medical staff education meetings, emergency room staff meetings , board executive and public meetings. I was also responsible for tracking and reminding all clinical staff when their licenses were up for renewal and made sure working clinical staff were compliant in BLS, PALS, etc. I resigned my position as diabetes and nutrition assistant to take care of a loved one who has since passed and now I want to resume working again.
