There are not enough good things to say about Shanella. She started with our family part-time and was incredibly reliable and punctual and kind with my son. We were very lucky that she was available to work with us full-time when we needed more hours. She has been an amazing partner for us in caring for our children. She insisted on keeping a log on how my kids were eating, sleeping, their activities and in general knew everything about my kids. Most importantly, I know she genuinely cares about my kids - she treats them like her own and is interested in developing them (suggesting activities and recommending things to us about what our kids would like). As much as I disliked doing this to her, she was incredibly gracious every time we had a schedule change and worked with us to accommodate us and our needs. She is sensitive to the kids needs and was great meeting their needs as they were different ages. She regularly took them to scheduled activities, did school drop off and pick up, encouraged their learning through games, took them out in nice weather. Shanella also helped around the home tidying up and doing the kids laundry. She truly is a gem in every way.
