Hello, My name is Dajah and I am 19 years old and I graduated from Douglas County High School . I am from Milwaukee Wisconsin and lived Kentucky for most of my life,about 6 years ago my family and I moved to Douglasville Georgia. In high school I was involved in various clubs and sports such as cheer team, swim team, chess club and DECA. During my fresh man year I went to a organization called Boys and Girls club, I absolutely loved the environment and activities and the attention and love that they give to children. At age 16 I decided to volunteer at the Boys and Girls Club for a year. I absolutely loved there. My responsibilities were to organize activities for children, solve problems, give out lunch and snack according to the schedule and monitor kids safety and provide a listening ear if they had a situation. At age 17 during the summer and some school days I would go downtown Atlanta or to Alabama and help out in food pantry's giving food to the needy. Seeing smiles on their faces warms my heart. After graduating High school in May 2017. I had a job offer to be a camp counselor in Oregonia Ohio. Of course I took the job. I was a summer job and my responsibilities were planning, leading and implanting core and non-core programs and experiences for children, responsible for the general safety and development, growth, and skill achievement of the kids I created cooking and fashion club for the kids to join. I felt that I made a big positive difference working at the camp because I gave wonder advice and I was a friend that they can always count on.
