Family in Seattle
MISSION STATEMENT: Woodland Nook is a loving, safe and secure environment offering home based child care to local families. It is our goal that Woodland Nook is a home away from home. Where each child can be their unique selves; PLAY, LEARN, EXPLORE and DISCOVER. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: We are a small in-home daycare that opened March 2016. We have been blessed to have the same families and children over the past year and have built strong relationships with both parents and child. Two of our families will be expanding their family and adding a 2nd child to Woodland Nook this Summer. We are currently looking for an Assistant. The primary responsibility will be caring for the needs of 2 infants as well as daily cleaning and cooking responsibilities. There will be 3-4 other children daily at the home that the Licensee will be responsible for their daily needs. Together, we hope we can build a relationship that helps support each other in taking care of all the children and their needs. We have monthly themes, craft projects and Pre-K learning activities keeping our schedule full of lots of play and interaction with the children. Infant Care: There will be 2 infants starting at age 3 & 4 months old. The basic care of the infants will be your primary responsibility. All diaper changing, feeding and creating a consistent daily nap schedule. I believe in exposing children to as much learning while playing time as possible.
