Hi there! My name is Guadalupe Maldonado, a recent psychology graduate with a concentration in child and family studies from Judson University in Elgin, Illinois. It is extremely important to me for children to have a safe learning environment provided outside their regular school hours. I have volunteered at a daycare facility at my local church back home for the last few years and found that the children I worked with became more involved in their education once they realized how fun it was learn outside of school through different activities (i.e. helping with homework through singing or fun memorization games). I moved to the area just recently to be with my husband who works in Camp Lejune, I have also been accepted into a masters program in applied behavioral analysis and therefore I am unavailable during the week, but because my passion is to watch children succeed, as I will be mastering that in graduate school.
