Rachel has such a gift when it comes to caregiving. She has a unique ability to make everyone around her joyful. I have witnessed her care for somebody else's pet as though it was her own, a toddler with severe separation anxiety, ( that she got rid of in two weeks) a fussy newborn with a postpartum mom, as well as helping an elderly neighbor fighting for his independence. Rachel would cook for him and help with getting repairs done to his house. I remember her sitting on the phone for 2 hours with the cable company, when she thought the man was being overcharged on his bill. This was not a client, just a neighbor she looked out for, at no charge. She is funny, attentive and extremely patient. Rachel has such a way with children especially. She grows a bond with them rapidly and they all love her.

Rachel is hardworking and eager to please her customers. When it comes to watching my kids or my dogs and my home while we are out of town, we know we can count on her! She always goes the extra mile; for example, she tidied up our home on multiple occasions so we could relax upon our return (our house is always a MESS), she spent extra time working with one of our dogs that has anxiety so Sue (the dog) wouldn’t be scared when Rachel vistited. I can’t quite put into words what happened there, nothing short of magic! Rachel is attentive and we never hesitate to make plans because we know regardless of whom or what is left in Rachel’s care, she will go above and beyond the call of duty. I’d also like to mention my son is on the autism spectrum and she is wonderful with him! She is experienced when it comes to keeping your kids entertained and finds fun ways to help them learn as they play. She is creative and always has a positive attitude which is a huge plus.
