Sue H is hard working, committed to our family and always on time. Sue has been our saving grace this spring and summer. She helps my two boys (ages 6 and 9) to get ready in the morning for the school bus, packs lunches, helps with minor house cleaning, and driving to activities. She keeps the boys entertained by playing sports, games and arts and crafts. Sue sets consistent and fair limits for the boys and is able to intervene in sibling squabbles. Sue is also a good communicator and keeps me informered of anything that occurs when she is with our boys. She is warm, friendly and a joy to be around. When she is babysitting, I don’t worry about a thing!

I highly recommend Suzanne Harju. Sue was the site assistant for a Social Work Masters program that I oversaw. She showed outstanding organizational skills! She had worked at the institution much longer than I, and was extremely helpful in getting me up to speed with policies and procedures. She is amazingly dependable and was never late. She was responsible for communicating to diverse students, faculty, staff and administrators and coordinating events and services. She is very detail oriented. She has a positive attitude and always went beyond what was asked or expected. She build meaningful and positive relationships with everyone she interacted with. She is calm, kind and skilled. I was able to observe her working with children, and she completely melted my heart. She interacts and engages children through creative and/or athletic play. I would not hesitate to leave my child in her care. I know that she comes from a strengths based perspective and believes that caring, safety and support are the ingredients children need to thrive. She is also a healthy cook if there is a need for meal prep. We attended a community dinner and she stepped in to cook and serve people in need before anyone asked. She adapts to new situations and environments with ease. She would be willing and able to accommodate any special needs. I adore Sue and believe that anyone who has an opportunity to work with her will feel the same!
