Hi, my name is Renee. I am very interested in this job opportunity to babysit your sweet baby. Some personal information about me includes: I grew up in South Lyon, MI. Growing up I played a lot of sports. I currently attend Grand Valley State University and will be entering my senior year this upcoming fall. I have taken a course that has allowed me to become First Aid and CPR/AED certified. My experience with kids goes back to about middle school. Around that time my mother was a nanny for an infant and continued to care for him up until he started elementary school. From watching and helping my mom I was able to learn a lot about how to care for and handle an infant. I learned how to care for him as he grew from a baby to a toddler. I also babysat him as an infant and toddler myself some days. In addition, I volunteered at my church's nursery for about six years up until I began college. That gave me a lot of experience with kids ages 0 to 3. That involved caring for and playing with the infants/toddlers. For about four and a half years now I have babysat two really great kids ages 5-10. They are very different in personality so I would play a lot of doll house, Legos, sports, ect. I was also given a great opportunity in summer 2016 to babysit for a truly amazing family. I am so grateful to them for allowing me to care for their three little ones, a 3 month old and two toddlers. The majority of the care-giving was for the infant. It included: feeding him in the morning, changing diapers, putting him down for naps and transporting him to his appointments and to meet the parents elsewhere when needed. Lastly, through the summer of 2017, I babysat for a family with a 3 month old and a 2 year old. I also began babysitting for a family with 7 month old twins which I currently continue to nanny for. Overall, I have about eight years of experience caring for infants to elementary school aged children. I also have my own car for transportation.
