Hi, My name is Bethany, I have 4 years of childcare experience. I primarily take care of children ages 4 weeks to 3 years old. But my specialty is in infants. I am very comfortable when watching babies and have great natural instincts when caring for them. I tend to become very connected to the children and parents I caretake for, I take the responsibility of being a part of their kids well being and development very serious. The reasons I love working with ages 0-3 years are honestly the small things like how easily you can make them laugh, its like you are the funniest person in the world, they make you reflect on whats important and make you appreciative of all the small things in life. One of the things I have learned since working at my current job is not everyone is made for it. My biggest pet peeve is that children (Especially Infants) can feel your energy. My biggest strength is not getting frustrated or flustered when children are upset or crying. I will instead try to empathize with them and problem solve until I find the solution. When working with infants I think it is so important to interact with them. I am not afraid to to be that crazy lady who has full on conversations with babies. I am all about the cooing life. I can assure all parents I do not just think of this as a pay check, but as a privilege. I am very excited for the potential opportunity to be part your children's life and help them grow and develop. :)
