Hello, my name is Jeanene Meadow-Gove. I am a forty-two year-old mother of three, a daughter who is fifteen, a son who is thirteen, and a son who is one years-old. Jeanene's Little Tots was created in 2003 to provide quality and affordable early care and education to families in the community. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education with high honors from Ashford University. I am CPR and First Aid certified as well as having a current fingerprint clearance card on hand. The parents that I have had the pleasure of working with always ask how I manage to take care of all these kids on a daily basis. Everyone has a skill or talent, and my skill is educating and caring for children. I thoroughly enjoy getting up every morning to go to work. My passion has always been to educate, nurture, and care for children. In 2003, I decided to open my home and begin to provide quality and affordable early care and education to the families in the community. For the last 13 years, I have been running a successful in-home daycare for children, who range in age from newborn to 12 years and I look forward to continue serving families and their children for many years. Mission: To provide a safe, affordable, comfortable and nurturing quality early childhood program that give families and children a feeling of security. I provide a home environment that offers developmentally appropriate activities that promotes play, cognitive, language, physical, social, and emotional development for young children. The children will have fun, learn to be good role models, and become lifelong learners. Philosophy: All children must be treated with respect. All children have the right to a safe, healthy, and loving environment that provides a curriculum that enhances their physical growth, motor, cognitive, language, social, and emotional development according to their cultural background, developmental levels, special needs, talents, and interests. I believe childcare should be a positive experience for every child that I care for. Therefore, I think it is important for me to have positive relationships with the parents and families that I am working for.
