Sitter Job in Short Hills, New Jersey

We are family of 4 in Short Hills, NJ seeking an afterschool nanny/ house keeper. Typical hours will be Monday to Friday 2pm to 6pm, but we are flexible with the hours (more/less). Ideal nanny is loving, patient, calm, and able to work as a team with the parents. Prefer candidate who is COVID-19 vaccinated and/or boosted. Duties include, picking up children from school and providing transportation to and from activities. Preparing snacks and basic meals for the children. Tidying up after the kids and helping with meal prep for the family, if time permits. Depending on the number of hours the nanny chooses, optional housekeeping tasks could include emptying the dishwasher, vacuum cleaning, taking out the trash, and doing laundry (ideally helping with the family’s laundry). Children are 9 years and 5 years old and both go to schools. Both parents are working. Whole family is COVID vaccinated. Benefits include, salary plus paid holidays off, and paid sick/personal days off. The family’s vehicle is available for use on the job, and the nanny will be reimbursed for gas if their personal vehicle is used. Qualified candidate must be able to provide valid work and childcare references.
