Sitter Job in Toronto, Ontario

12 year old boy with ASD. He attends school full time. He is mostly non verbal but gaining speech. He can communicate his needs through pictures or gestures as well. He is very physically active but no aggression issues generally. He gets upset sometimes but he is easy to calm and transition before a meltdown occurs. He's generally very happy and fun to be around. He likes to go for long walks or ride transit. We don't have a car but he does love car rides whenever he gets a chance. He loves Disney and music - he has a keyboard that he plays almost every day. He loves books and will stim over them. Work involved: General supervision Some light meal prep Sticking to his normal bedtime routine Taking him on walks around the neighborhood Occasionally picking him up from his bus (at the house, no walking or car needed) and watching him until a parent is home. Additional support needed on an occasional basis: primarily after school, evenings - never later than midnight Weekends - Saturday nights one or twice a month Overnights would be a *huge* bonus as we go away every few months for important trips Pay negotiable.
