Sitter Job in Iowa City, Iowa

Afterschool Care w/ pickup from Borlaug Elementary on Camp Cardinal Rd to transport to my home or yours. Provide a snack and engagement with my sassy sweet kindergarten girl who is five years old. I am single mom working as a Registered Nurse starting a new day job 3-25-19 hours would be MTuWF 3:00pm-6:00pm and Th 2:00pm-6:00pm with scheduled or occasional weekend break to take daughter on a planned activity which I would fund to give me time to complete housework or errands. We live in a small duplex in University Heights my daughter can do outdoor activities Tower Park is right across the street and or watch Netflix she is very low maintenance as far as care. Just want a very loving patient caregiver to help set up more structure and routine for her she loves to read books and write letters and tell stories and sing. I just need someone there for supervision I don’t cook so cooking and cleaning is not required simple snacks and quick meals are about what it is. We are definitely not the domesticated model home so you must be flexible funloving and not uptight to that we live in a small place with a lot of stuff! Not nasty hoarder just stuff. Great sense of humor is a plus! Must have own car and insurance and be able to safely transport my daughter booster seat will be provided If works out and caregiver is interested in summer hours that could be explored as well. Since the care is so minimal with little duties related I am looking to pay a lump sum for those hours bi-weekly additional if the weekend shift is done. I need someone who just needs some spending money you can’t take care of a household or live on this job. Start date would be in the next two weeks and be permanent until school is out then summer hours tbd.
