Hello there! Our family in Philomath, Oregon is in need of a reliable and caring sitter for our two energetic toddlers. We are open to considering live-in or live-out arrangements, but we expect the position to stay part-time. We could consider full time and a negotiable hourly rate if you also want to help us make our 10 acres amazing river front property into our regenerative farm dream. Our ideal candidate will have experience with childcare, be ready to read literature on trauma informed parenting and be a team mate in trying strategies that help our two kiddos learn new skills, especially self regulation and how to deal with big feelings. We are searching for someone who can provide a safe and stimulating environment for our little ones when we are not available. This will include engaging in educational activities, outdoor play, and meal preparation in a gluten free house. We value a candidate who can create a structured and loving atmosphere while maintaining clear communication with us. Our family is willing to compensate competitively at $20.00 per hour, and we are open to negotiating terms for the right person.
