We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Special Needs Nanny to provide dedicated care for two children, one with unique requirements, and one who is neurotypical. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in childcare, particularly with special needs children, and possess the patience and skills necessary to create a supportive and nurturing environment. Responsibilities: Develop and implement a personalized care plan based on the child's specific needs and abilities. Provide assistance with daily activities, including personal care routines, feeding, and mobility support. Engage in age-appropriate play and educational activities to stimulate the child's development. Monitor and manage any medical requirements, therapies, or medications as prescribed. Collaborate with parents and other healthcare professionals to ensure consistent care and communication. Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes the child's independence and well-being. Adapt caregiving techniques to accommodate any sensory sensitivities or behavioral challenges. Maintain a safe and hygienic environment for the child at all times. Communicate effectively with parents, sharing insights and updates on the child's progress. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Special Needs Nanny or in a similar caregiving role. Background in early childhood education, special education, or related field preferred. Familiarity with autism and ability to adapt care strategies accordingly. CPR and first aid certification. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
