Sitter Job in Friendswood, Texas

Hours: 35 hours per week Monday-Thursday plus every other Friday or Saturday Description: paid training period, followed by - watching various children for around 25 hours per week (5 days total). Duties include making snacks, helping with school work, occasionally driving children to classes, playing outside, swimming, crafts, games, books, playing with toys, 2 children in diapers, following a printed schedule for all children ages 4 and up. In addition, 10 hours per week (to be spread out over the same 5 days) of housekeeping is requested (at time outside of watching children), following a printed daily schedule that includes cleaning the kitchen, bathrooms, mopping and vacuuming, making beds, tidying children’s rooms, general tidying. Fall 2017 hours (hours change over the summer and each Fall depending on children’s schedules): Monday - 11-6 Tuesday-12-8 Wednesday - 9:30-4:30 Thursday 10-8 Every other Friday 3:00-8:00 Every other Saturday (weeks without Fridays) 12-5 Requirements: 2 references, clean driver’s license, reliable transportation. Energetic, enthusiastic, outgoing, patient, responsible, tidy, organized, reliable, punctual. Experience preferred but not a must for the right person. Repeated cancellations or tardiness during training will result in this offer being withdrawn. We are interested in hiring someone long term, so please only apply if you are available for 1 year or longer (i.e. not graduating and moving in May).
