Sitter Job in Northumberland, Pennsylvania

What We're Looking For: Hello my name is Danielle. I am hoping to hire a sitter to watch our 6 month old son in our home while my husband and I work. We usually work opposite schedules leaving us to need someone for 5-6 hours in the afternoon. We both work retail so the hours can vary from 9am-9:30pm but we will mainly need a sitter from about 1pm-6pm about 1-3 days a week. My mother in law is the primary babysitter, but she is currently having some medical issues which lead us to need an alternative. Our son is an extremely calm and happy baby. He only fusses when he is hungry or tired and loves to cuddle. If he has cartoons on tv he stays pretty entertained. Talking to him will make him laugh up a storm. He naps pretty frequently throughout the day. I let him sleep as much as he wants so there’s no need to feel like he needs entertained constantly to be kept awake. Services And Training: You must have reliable transportation and be willing to sit in our home. We prefer someone with basic certifications and training but must have experience with infants. He is 6 months old and uses liquid formula, so there is no food prep needed. We keep up with our home ourselves so no need for you to feel responsible to clean anything. We do have a dog which likes women easily and men after a short visit. We also have a home security system that is used just to review in the case of an emergency and to check in occasionally. Other Availability: Roughly 6 hours, up to 9 a day. 1-3 days a week. We will know our schedules 2-3 weeks in advance. How To Apply: Message or phone call/text.
