Sitter Job in Santa Maria, California

Hello, My name is Rebecca and I am the mother of a loving, 4 year old autistic boy. We are currently looking for a small home daycare setting to provide before and after school care. Schedule would be Tuesday through Friday. Days would be split from 7 or 7:30am-9:00am and also from 1:00pm-5:00pm. The reason for the split is because my son goes to a special education class from 9:30-12:... Tues-Friday. The school district provides curb to curb bus service from any location in Santa Maria so transportation is not needed. We have been so blessed to find this special program for him and are hoping to find the same blessing in a home day care that will genuinely care for him and appreciate him for the little individual he is. The ideal fit would not need to have experience with special needs children but MUST be patient, loving, and be a good communicator(s). Taking care of a special needs child is no easier or harder than the "typical" child.....It is just different. If this sounds like a possible fit please contact me soon to set up a visit.
