Sitter Job in Flushing, Michigan

My name is Cameron, my fiance is Shane. We just moved to Flushing and are looking for a sitter. We had a wonderful sitter at our old home but are too far for her now. The biggest key points about us, and our schedule for babysitting: Cold months we will only need a sitter occasionally for date nights or errand days, so very flexible around your schedule of work or school Warm months are our busy season for work and this is when we need a sitter regularly, Weekends are a must! Please do not consider us, if working most weekends will be difficult for you in Summer. We do expect children to be cleaned up after, while their being watched. We're very easy going parents, our children are very well behaved, but do love attention. I really want someone hands on that will sit and color with them, read, play outside, but also encourage some quiet time for yourself and themat some points. If you have a child, you are welcome to bring them to our home! We will be claiming what we pay you on our taxes. I'm not sure what this means for you as a tax payer but I will be finding that out soon enough with my tax guy. We have 1 dog, her name is Cheyenne and she's the sweetest pure bred golden retriever. We do expect you to watch her as well, which is very easy for her. Let her outside, make sure she has food, encourage play between her and the kids, and make sure she's not chewing the house to bits Hours and Days will vary in the warm months, it's based on our contracted work for customers so it's usually different every single week, but every Saturday is pretty much a given that we will need you! That is the busiest day of the week in summer for us. We don't expect you to be available every Saturday, but most Saturdays would be needed. Any Saturdays you need off please give us notice As for hours go, it could be 4 or 10 hours, we will always give you notice on what days and hours ahead of time though! We need: non smoker, reliable vehicle, good hygiene, responsible, good communication, flexible schedule in summer, available occasionally in winter, and great with children! For teens: it's very important to us to have an open communication with you and not speaking to your parents for your schedule and needs. During a "meet & greet" however, it'd be great to meet parents as well and discuss everything! For SAHM: During meet and greet, we do ask to bring your child to see how our children interact together if you'd be bringing yours on sitting days. Thank you and looking forward to hearing from you!
