Hello to a future member of our family! We are the Harvey family- nice to meet you! We are looking for a devoted and energetic nanny for our two year old baby boy, who has a contagious zest for life. We consider our future nanny to be an integral part of our family and will happily have her join us on family trips and cottage visits. We are looking for someone who can work for us full-time, during the week, with the occasional evening or weekend. We are a family who loves people with all our hearts, so if you join our family folds we will consider you our own. The ideal applicant would speak a second language (French or Italian), know CPR/have first-aid training and be open to doing light housework and meal prep. Our baby will attend Montessori a few years down the road and it is an asset if the candidate has an understanding of Maria Montessori’s philosophies as it is already fully integrated in our home. We also believe in the power of outdoors and the arts, so someone with a love of those schools would be an asset. We prescribe to the responsive/gentle parenting school of thought and do not believe in cry it out, so we are hoping to find someone who aligns with those values. The emotional health of our child is of utmost importance to us. Our little man speaks English and French and we are a no screen time family, so applicants should have a zest for good old fashion fun. We are open to either full time hours OR from 2-5 daily.
