Sitter Job in Fishkill, New York

Job Overview: I am looking for a part time sitter who will love my boys ALMOST as much as I love them! Currently seeking 2 consistent mornings a week: Tuesday 9-12:30 and Wednesday 9-12:30, plus occasional holidays, additional evenings, and other full days from time to time. I'm a single mom who runs my own design business, working from home most of the time. I really need a second set of hands to get help homework done, get dinner made/cleaned up, keep them engaged in healthy activities, get outside, have playdates, etc. My two boys (currently age 7 and 4) are so sweet and loving, but they both need their own kind of handling. My older son is mildly autistic and very intelligent, gentle, and kind. He loves to draw, read, make "books", play legos, invent games, learn about science and programming and even film making, and beg non stop for video games (we reserve them for rewards for good behavior). My younger son has a speech delay and can be super willful/emotional but he is also very funny, adorable, and affectionate. He's obsessed with dinosaurs, loves looking at books and being read to, and is much more physically active/sporty than his big brother. Willingness to help with some laundry, straightening up, dishes, easy/healthy cooking is really essential. It would be super awesome to see their caretaker teach some simple cooking or science, get outdoors, play games with them, read lots of books, etc. Having your own transportation is important too, as my younger son will need to be picked up at his school and often they will need to be brought to different sports/activities.
