Sitter Job in Jacksonville, Florida

Hello! I'm Jacqui. I'm looking for a live out part-time nanny to help me with my 5-year-old son starting in January. I am a single mother with no family or support living in the area. We are brand new to Jacksonville. I just got a job as a middle school teacher in the south-side of the city. I'm offering $15.0 HOURLY to the right person who can provide an excellent level of care. The ideal candidate will be experienced with primary school aged children and have a keen interest in child development. I'm looking for someone who is capable of creating an exciting learning environment, while also providing a safe and nurturing atmosphere. First Aide and CPR training are required. Smoke-free and drug-free. There is a pool at our apartment complex and my son loves swimming. You don't necessarily need to get in the pool with him, but you must know how to swim in case of an emergency. Having your driver's license and your own a vehicle with a clean driving record is a requirement. I will provide you with a carseat or booster seat that you will need to keep in your vehicle. I need someone who can come into my home at 7:15am every weekday morning and get my son ready for school, then drop him off at 8:15am. His preschool is only 5 minutes down the road from where we live. The school that I work at is a 45 minute drive. Help to get my son ready and to school will relieve morning stress and allow me to get to work on time. This pays $75 a week on a typical school week. In addition, there may be times when I will need someone to watch him so that I can have "mommy time." During those times, you will likely be watching him in our home, and I would like you to work on educational items for part of the time. The rest of the time, he is allowed to play or you are welcome to watch a movie with him. I will provide food for both of you, or you are welcome to bring your own if you are on a special diet. Once we are settled in Jacksonville, I would like to sign my son up for extracurricular activities and I may need help getting him to those activities if I am busy with work. This is a $15/hour position. At minimum, you will make $300/month, but can make up to $1000/month depending on how often I need you. Please note: we do have a cat in our home.
