Hello, I'm Mrs. Timika, I am a Family Childcare provider with certifications in CNA, CDA, & CPR/First Aid Adult/Infant care. I began babysitting as a young child with family and neighbors then I became a certified nursing assistant, and moved on into the childcare field. I have been a provider for more than 15 years now and I love it. I started out just baby sitting and then in 2009 this wonderful program found me called Nurturing Home Initiative through Mississippi State University Extension Service. Through them, I became a trained provider so I have a lot of hours of training with childcare because of them ( I learned the difference between babysitting and childcare). In 2013 My family childcare was rated a 1 star program through them. In 2015, they became the Early Years Network and my childcare was rated a 3 star program and I also received my CDA Credentials. I love my job. I believe children learn while having fun, so that is what we do, learn while having fun. My program offers age appropriate curriculum (we use Funshine Express together with my curriculum), we have fun with math, literacy, science, arts/crafts, music/dance to name a few, and we have a large back yard with a large play area, freshly cooked nutritious breakfast, lunch, and snacks. We also offer a lot of love, hugs, and independency. We are a smoke free, pet free home. We will love for you to become apart of the family.
