I am posting this on behalf of my nanny. I hope to find her a new family as my kids are now in school. To Whom It May Concern: It is with great pleasure that I recommend Carmen Tello as a nanny/babysitter. She watched our three children (now ages 3, 5, and 7) since each was a newborn. For the majority of the past 7 years, she was with us full time, or five full days a week, and has been indispensable. Carmen is extremely dependable. She always came to our home on time, cheerful and ready to jump in where needed in the crazy morning madness. And each day she was greeted by kids running to give her hugs. She is kind, patient, and loving. Already, my kids miss her dearly and look forward to spending time with her. That said, she always followed our directions in regard to the children (naptimes, food, TV, etc.) and they respect her as an authority figure. Carmen always engaged the kids. They enjoyed lots of time outdoors at the park and on walks as well as indoors reading and playing with puzzles and educational games. In addition, she was a huge help in our household with dishes, laundry, cleaning, etc. Beyond the standard routine of watching our kids and helping with household chores, we turned to Carmen in times of crisis when we needed extended help. She made herself available to us regardless of the day or time. She was with us for beginnings, endings, and everything in between and truly became part of our family. We will continue to use Carmen for our babysitting needs. However, I have recently resigned from my job and all three kids are now in preschool/elementary school. It is with great sadness that we cannot continue to employ Carmen on a regular basis. We trust Carmen implicitly - with our kids and in our house. And I know she loves our kids as if they are her own. And without a doubt, they love her back. For me that is most important. I give Carmen the highest recommendation.
