Sitter in Auburn, Alabama

As the second oldest of over 20 cousins, babysitting has been part of my life since I was old enough to supervise the younger ones. They all vary in age, from baby to high school, so I have experience with a range of ages. I'm a college junior at Auburn University, and I'm majoring in journalism with a minor in women's studies. I'm the president and editor in chief of an online magazine at Auburn University, so writing and reading are huge passions and interests of mine. Encouraging education and healthy habits are a few of my main goals when it comes to caring for children since it was a heavy emphasis my mother used when raising me. I have been a volunteer in the children's church of Church of the Highlands for almost 6 years. I lead a small group of elementary school girls and talk to them about church and their lives. I've worked mainly with children in elementary school, but I'm interested in broadening my experience with other age groups outside of my family. I have my own car and can definitely provide transportation to do fun activities or pick up and drop offs.
