Kitchicoo is a parent-run cooperative daycare in Hintonburg providing daily care for 6 children from 8am to 5:30pm. Kitchicoo provides an environment where children grow and thrive, and where parents are deeply involved and committed. Benefits of Kitchicoo include: - 3:1 child-to-adult ratio ensures individual attention for every child - an experienced Early Childhood Educator on staff - bilingual environment - cloth diaper friendly - home cooked, organic, and local vegetarian food - involvement in your child's day-to-day learning and development - cost effective care (monthly fees are approximately $750 for a full-time spot) ***Each family is required to volunteer for one day per week (one day every other week for part-time families), as well as contribute to the ongoing operations of the daycare: including finances, purchasing, cleaning, cooking, and programming.
