Midwest Child Development is proud to announce the opening a second location, Lake Child Development Center. Located in Maplewood, Lake Child Development Center is fully licensed and accepting enrollment NOW! We provide high quality care and education for children 6 weeks to Kindergarten entry. Lake Child Development Center is located in the education wing of Lake Lutheran Church at 2280 Stillwater Avenue, Maplewood, MN. Private Pay and Child Care Assistance is welcome. Our affordable weekly tuition includes all activities (in and out of house), all meals, infant formula and jar food, diapers/pull-ups and wipes, sunscreen and all materials for the curriculum. We believe that parents should have the opportunity to spend time discussing their child's day and development with the teachers rather than being reminded of items to bring or fees to pay. We use a well-known, research-based curriculum that is individualized for each child. Parents meet with teachers upon enrollment to develop a goal for their child and continue to meet three times a year (or more often) to revise the goal(s) and review their child's progress. We believe that parents are their child's first teacher and we support that relationship by offering child development education and resources to parents. We provide a safe, clean, nurturing environment for children to grow, learn and develop their skills and become the best they can be.
