Retired lady who has raised 4 children to include a set of identical twin daughters. I also helped raise 3 of my grandchildren to include another set of twins. I took care of my youngest grandchild when she was three months old until she entered preschool. She is now in Kindergarten at the Foreign Language Academy. I pick her up from school 2 days a week to spend time with her. I have a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I love babies and enjoy exposing them to different things so they can explore. Example; going on nature walks, listening to stories at the library, going to the park, etc. I was a CASA volunteer for 11 years in Topeka, Kansas. I don't know if your familiar with CASA. It's an organization that represent children in court who has been abused and/or neglected. I know as a parent one of the most important things is to make sure your child is safe. I would keep your child safe. Another important issue is providing love and comfort to your child. I will never love your childe like you do, but your child will feel the warmth and comfort I provide her/him.
