From the time I was 14 up until now I've always watched and cared for children. Now I am 26 and I have my first child - I can truly see how very important and special that bond between a parent and their child is. I am now choosing to work less and value everyday I get to spend with her. Life is too short. I am either willing to open up my home to others who want their child/children to have a one on one experience or come to your home! I will be bringing my little girl with if of course that's ok with you! She is 2 as of May 30th! A little about myself, As stated above I started watching children at the age of 14. 3 young boys- at the time 5, 3 and barely 3 months. I was a live in nanny for the children and did various household chores and tasks required or asked of me. I watched the boys for several summers and once school was reinstated I focused on that, watching the boys only in weekends. I enjoyed every single minute of it and showed me at a young age just how much I truly loved children. For the last 2 years I've watched my almost 3 year old nephew once a week (started watching him at about 13 months old) And for the last 8 months I've kept an infant (5 months old) part time! I went to college for early education and immediately afterwards started working at a private academy . Christian based. Upon first starting I was working in the nursery with the babies for several months. I was moved to the preschool class (position I initially applied for) and worked there for nearly 2 years. Supervised children, lesson plans, lead the class in daily activities and lessons. Taught children colors , numbers, counting and motor skills. I am extremely excited for the opportunity to watch your children if giving the chance.
