I have operated a Family and Group home child care as well as an owner of a child care center. I bring over 25 years of licensed child care experience along with the experience of being enrolled in an Associates Degree program at Kellogg Community College. The children in my care follow a structured preschool program giving them a jump on entering the school atmosphere. They work on math, science, reading, letter/number recognition, arts/crafts, learning about the weather, social skills, manners and much more. I also am on the USDA food program which ensures that your child is being served nutritious snacks and meals throughout the day. My experience has led me to running a Family licensed home child care and a group licensed child care. In addition to this I've owned my own child care center in Portage, MI and have operated as a Business Manager for Rainbow Child Care Center in Holland.
