Newly LISTED CHILDCARE HOME with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. Located just outside of Azle city limits - 3 miles from town right off Highway 199 (Jacksboro Hwy). I have been a CCMS Rising Star Provider as well as Registered with the state for over nineteen years in Benbrook at our previous home. We moved into this residence two years ago and are ready to jump back into the littles business! My name is Tracy Valdez. I have two amazing children that are now 14 and 17 years old. We have homeschooled them for the last 12 years. During that time, I also operated my home daycare and my kiddos loved helping me out. My husband, Gilbert, is an electrical engineer at a small company in Benbrook and has also been a huge support and asset to running the childcare home. I offer lots of love, care, and educational, age-appropriate activities with lots of outside play time. We have lots of animals in our family and I love to engage the children in learning to love and care for all God's creatures. We own and care for a horse named Jesse and two sweet donkeys (Momma and Farnsworth), Oscar the rabbit, Cricket and Socks the border collie sisters, 12 laying hens, 12 brand new baby chicks, and two snakes - Draco and Hermione. We work any hours you need care for and can transport to and from local schools. I am limited to three children at a time which provides plenty of opportunity to learn social group skills as well as small group dynamics with lots of one-on-one attention. I provide good, healthy meals with organic fruits and vegetables from a co-op we belong to. I like to engage the kids in learning to prepare and cook foods, learn the comfort and care of animals, working on projects thru reading, and open ended arts and crafts. My rates are extremely competitive - but more importantly...I work with each and every client to find a rate that fits both our needs. Thus, I don't have a published rate. Dependent on the number of hours you need, the amount of money you'd be making, and the consistency that you require care for, we will work together with you to come up with a fair price. I offer hourly, daily, and weekly rates. I also allow mildly ill children to come to care with prior permission. With only three children limits, and my older two children at home doing their schooling - we can easily accommodate a mildly ill child and caring for the other two children separate. I offer days, evenings, overnights, weekends and holiday care as well. We can provide a comfortable schedule for proper sleep habits that meet the special needs of these uncommon hours.
