Hi my name is Miatha. I'm very much interested in the job you have posted if its still available. I'm currently looking for a second position with either more hours and/or possible long-term stability. I have over 7 years of experience with children. I absolutely love newborns and toddlers they are such a joy their little minds soak up knowledge like a sponge. I've taken a child development class in high school. This class was half book lessons and facts while the other half consisted of running a daycare that the school offered to the neighborhood. I have taken the following honors classes: Biomedical sciences, Psychology, Biotechnology, Drama class, and my own personal knowledge about kids. With the help of these background classes I'm able to create a very fun yet educational environment. This helps with the cognitive development and my ability to present them with the material that is unique to their own individual developmental milestones. I focus on both fine and big motor skills. In addition I have held a position as a assistant cook and server for A children's learning center. I've aso taken drama class so entertaining but having an educational underlying cause will be no problem. Im also a neat freak so cleaning will be taken care of. I like to plan lessons the day before these include but are not limited to arts and crafts, story time, puppet show, Learning ABC'S and 123's. I truly just enjoy being around the little ones.
