My name is Elysia, I am looking for a job as a nanny as I love children. I have taken care of my niece and nephews, along with friends of the family since they were born up until they were thirteen. I have been working as a certified nursing assistant for the past three years caring for seniors with traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injuries, hospice, Alzheimer's, dementia, along with the simple fact of growing old. I have my nursing assistant certification, food handlers, CPR/first aid for infant to adult, blood borne pathogens, HIV , orientation and safety training, 540 hours of continuing course work, and fundamentals of care giving. Along with being a nursing assistant I have helped out with charity events such as ghost train with Kitsap Foster Care Association, blood drives, classes pertaining to sports medicine, and peer mentoring groups for foster children. My childcare experience ranges from ages new born to thirteen years, I have cared for many children including special needs babies. A little about myself, I attend shoreline community college online majoring in criminal justice with a degree in child maltreatment, I enjoy art's and crafts, play time, reading books to children and I do know american sign language I am also willing to take any extra classes you feel are needed.
