Hi there! My name is Courtni Poe. I'm 20 years old. I just moved to North Hollywood from Nashville, TN to pursue my career in dance and with that I would like to continue my nanny career. I have worked in childcare from the age of 14 to now. I spent most of my childhood helping teachers at church and helping raise my little brothers. (2) I absolutley love working in childcare. I am currently with Nannies of Green Hills Agency. I have been a nanny for two years and I worked at The Gardner School as an assistant teacher for a year and a half. I am currently nannying two families part time between the ages of 1-4. I also have newborn experience and experience with being a personal assistant and family planner for 2 years. Here is my description: Currently nannies two families. 4 Children total. Organized activities that developed children's physical, emotional and social growth. Redirected children to encourage safe, positive behaviors. Created daily lesson plans for activities. Physically and verbally interacted with children throughout the day. Made nutritious snacks and meals for 4 children. Established and maintained a safe play environment for the children. Monitored children's play activities to verify safety and wellness. Taught children personal care behaviors, including toilet training and feeding. Continually encouraged children to be understanding and patient with others. Coordinated field trips to local parks, fire stations and zoos. 3 years infant care experience. Trained in Epi-Pen and allergic reaction emergency procedures. Encouraged curiosity, exploration and problem- solving with age-appropriate playtime activities. Used clear communication and professionalism to develop constructive relationships with families.
