Babysitting Opportunity Available to those Interested! We are looking for a Responsible, Dependable, and Compassionate Sitter with a Kind Heart to watch our 5 year old Son Please! Days Needed: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Shift Time: Thursday 4:00pm - 7:00pm Wednesdays and Fridays 2:00pm - 7:00pm Note**** Hours are subjected to change when our son starts Kindergarten in the Fall. Once this starts, the hours would be different and change some, but would still be afternoon hours that we would need you to watch our son. We will explain this information aka our sitter needs further once we would meet with you in person to Interview you. Compensation Pay Rate: To Be Discussed/Salary Negotiable Hi, My name is Annie and my husband's name is Roger. We have a 5 year old son by the name of Brandon. Our son is on the Autism Spectrum and sadly is nonverbal at this point, although he does try to communicate in his own way. Please don't let that aka his Autism scare you away from wanting to watch as well as get to know our son. Please also try to remember that his Autism Does Not define whom our child is as a person. Our son is like any other child as he is very adventurous to say the least, curious like most children are, and just loves to play. Activities our son likes to play and do would include but are not limited to would be water play (this is his very favorite activity), playing with bouncy balls, large Lego's, playing with toy cars and trucks, watching things that spin, coloring with assisted help as well as other fun activities. He also likes and enjoys kid's songs (His favorite songs are Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, It's A Small World After All, ABC song ect). Our son even likes being read to and just overall being interacted with. As far as myself and my husband go, we are very kind people. We are a very open minded honest family and reasonable. We will always show you respect and of course we always want the same in return respect wise. What we are looking for when finding a qualified good candidate to watch our boy would include......................................... 1. You MUST be Reliable and Dependable (We will work with the person we hire as we know things do pop up, including illness, or a vacation that is planned, however, we absolutely need someone that is dependable and serious about wanting to watch our son). 2. Must enjoy and like/love children 3. Must be patient and kind 4. Must me comfortable watching a child with Special Needs and Open Minded to it. 5. Must have Reliable Transportation Note* We prefer someone to be CPR Certified, however, if you are not this is not a deal breaker if you're not CPR certified either.
