It is with the greatest of pleasure that we give our nanny, Susana, the highest recommendation to join a new family. Our toddler is off to preschool in September so we no longer require a full-time nanny. Susana has been our nanny for over two years and I can't say enough wonderful things about her. She is affectionate, gives lots of kisses, kind, fun loving and treats our daughter as her own. She loves to sing and play games and we are sure this is the reason our daughter loves to dance and sing so much. Susana is always introducing our daughter to new things; on a daily basis she takes her to the park and on a weekly basis to My Gym, Ballet and the Children's Creativity Museum. Susana prepares Peruvian foods from her homeland for her own family which our daughter loves and often brings a container for Anya's lunch. Susana has taught our daughter to speak Spanish which has motivated us to make the decision to put her into Spanish Immersion Montessori. Susana has been very generous in introducing our daughter to her culture. When we are in a time crunch Susana often does the grocery shopping to buy the things our daughter loves to eat. She takes responsibility for making sure our daughter is well fed everyday. • Located in Mission Bay neighborhood and is willing to travel anywhere to work within the city. • Prompt and responsible. Always on time (or early). • Does not drive, but is a pro at public transportation in the city. Takes our daughter on the bus, metro and Bart many times during the week. • Available full time with some flexibility. • Comes with excellent references. • Previous employer also spoke extremely highly of her and they maintain contact. • Native Spanish speaker from Peru (very limited English). • Disciplines the child, when necessary in accordance with our parenting principles. • Prepares nutritious meals and snacks, her homemade soup is our daughter's favorite! • Bathes and clothes our child. • Some cleaning and general housekeeping. • Keeps toys and clothes organized.
