Sitter Job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Work Hours: * Monday through Friday * Hours - Anywhere between 8-5pm * MUST BE FLEXIBLE Qualifications: *Must be 21 years of age * Have or obtain an OSBI background check done within the last 12 months * Have reliable alternate childcare if you have children (I do not have space for any other children) * Have reliable transportation * Will have to maintain 20 hours of documented training per year & register with OK Professional Development Registry * Childcare center or in-home licensed daycare experience required Personal Qualities: * Punctual & reliable attendance * Professionalism & maturity * An ability to keep outside interferences at a minimum (personal cell phone use, texting, etc will only be allowed on breaks) * An ability to be enthusiastic and fun with the children * Self-motivated & a quick learner * An ability to keep to the daily schedule with minimal prompting * A willingness to learn & follow licensing standards for DHS, STARS, and federal food program Job Duties: * Preparing and serving breakfast & cleaning up the kitchen afterwards * Leading daily lessons & crafts for a mixed-age group of 12 children * Supervising outdoor time * Starting lunch preparation * Other common childcare responsibilities such as changing diapers, supervising children, etc. Compensation: Depending on experience
