Sitter in Slidell, Louisiana

I'm very interested in a sitter job! I turned 43 yrs old in March. I've always loved babies and little kid's since I was about 11. My mom used to keep kid's at our home and sometimes at their homes. She always watched teacher's kid's and would stay with those kid's until they no longer needed a sitter. She would get her next sitter job by word of mouth from keeping kid's whose mother's were teacher's. She did that because when she started doing this I was 12. She always stayed with those particular kid's and parents until they were at an age they no longer needed a sitter!! Anyways I loved it and being around the babies and toddlers as well!! My older brother's had kid's before me so I enjoyed their's until I got married and have 2 girl's of my own who are now 18 and 14!! My oldest just graduated in May and is off to college and my youngest is a freshmen at Pope John Paul Catholic Highschool here in Slidell,La. I am currently divorced now of 3 yrs. I've always had good job's but gave that up after my second daughter was born and we had didn't have family that could keep her like we had with me oldest daughter. So, it's been a struggle for me to get my foot back into the work force. I know this is something I would enjoy because I miss every second of my girl's being young!! I'm not just looking to keep kid's who's parents are teacher's!! I was just telling a bit about myself and letting you know how I've always been around kid's at a young age and helped out a lot!! I also baby sat quite a bit as a teenager!! I just think this is something different than your regular everyday office job and it would also be enjoyable to me!! I'm not trying to take a stab at this because I can't get a job because I could!! I just know this would be something I would enjoy as well as being able to give back to someone who needs a good trusting sitter for their child or children. Plus my schedule is completely flexible so that's a plus as well!! I'd love to here from you and set up a time to meet and chat!!!
