Hi, my name is Amy and I am a bilingual, University of Ottawa medical student (aspiring pediatrician). I am offering child-care / babysitting in Ottawa, Ontario. Specifically, I am located near Carling and Woodroffe, and have a car so I can commute where I'm needed. I am reliable, hard-working, comfortable enforcing limits (bedtime, screen time, etc), comfortable with sick kids & special needs, and most of all love to play and spend time with kiddos! I have my First Aid &CPR certification and a completed Police Record check. Additionally, I can help with meal prep, homework (I really enjoy tutoring!), swimming supervision, pet-care (I love animals!), etc. I am comfortable with any age, and can care for multiple children. I have 10 years of general babysitting experience, and 3 years of experience providing specialized respite care for families with children with special needs (including cancer, ASD, ADHD, allergies, physical limitations, etc.). During my free time, I volunteer at the pediatric palliative hospice in Ottawa ('Roger Neilson House'). I would follow any instructions you provide and I am very receptive to feedback!
