Sitter Job in Sandusky, Ohio

Great opportunity for a teacher or someone who is in college. I am looking for childcare in our home 4 evenings per week for our two 7year olds. Our daughter is bright and imaginative, creative and funny, and very helpful. She is a typically developing 2nd grader who (rarely) needs help with her homework, bath and bedtime routine. Our son is happy, very bright, and enjoys his routines. He is a high functioning communicative ASD 2nd grader who has minimal (v rare) meltdowns but does need redirecting at times to make correct choices. (Ie write on the paper, not your hand... Put the paper in the trash, not on the floor). Assistance with bath and bed routine is required. I am looking for a mature and loving individual, perhaps with education experience or background, even with special needs training, to come into our home and care for our children while we are at work. The "shifts" would start at about 4pm (I'm a little flexible there), and would include Friday and Saturday evenings, as well as two other evenings during the week. I get home from work between 9-10 pm during the week, and 10-11pm on the weekends. There is potential to work additional "shifts" as well. Responsibilities to include: dinner time, cleaning up of daily dishes and toys used, keeping rooms tidy, bath and bedtime, assistance with homework, creative play time, outside supervised play time (we are around the corner from an elementary school playground and live in a great neighborhood). Our home is in Sandusky, and we have an 8year old golden retriever that has to be let out when needed as well. Please consider us for your part time job!
