Sitter Job in Redwood City, California

We're located in Redwood Shores and are looking for a long-term nanny for our 5-year old son. School-year hours are approximately Mon-Fri 1:00 - 5:00, and Wednesdays 12:45 - .... Summer hours will be different / longer. Looking for a fun-loving, responsible caregiver who will develop a deep, loving connection with our child. The job entails pickup from school (walking / biking distance from our house); lots of hands-on play (indoor games, outdoor sports, art projects, swimming during the summer, park visits, local outings, reading, etc.); scheduling and overseeing play dates; driving to afternoon classes; helping with homework; and providing lots of giggles, affection, and love. Also includes a short, daily dog walk. Nanny will need to drive to various outings, so must have a reliable car; current insurance; and a clean driving record. Rate includes a weekly gas allowance and paid time off. ** I work primarily from my home office. Will be onsite but hands-off during work hours.
