Hello, my name is Ariel! I am looking for a nanny for my 4 year old daughter to watch and care for her in off-typical hours in exchange for free living arrangements in our very nice and spacious 4 bedroom house in Lawrenceville. I will be changing jobs as soon as I am able which will require odd and long hours of work. I am looking for a nanny that is available to get my daughter ready for school and dropped off by 8:00 a.m. Monday through Friday in Johns Creek/Duluth area and can pick her up before 6:00 p.m. those same days. In general, your on-duty hours will be 5(ish)PM to 8am, Monday morning to Saturday morning, with the rare occasional carry over Saturday[night] into Sunday. You will need to get her up in the morning, dressed, fed, and to school on time. After pickup from school, you will need to play with, feed, bathe, and get her into bed. The daytime hours of 8-5 can be at your leisure as well as weekends and most Tuesdays. You may use this time for a second job or whatever recreational activities you may choose -within reason and legality. MUST BE CAT FRIENDLY. MUST HAVE OWN PERSONAL -AND RELIABLE- TRANSPORTATION. (Open to discussion for housekeeping and meal prep services too. A child of your own - considered - if you meet requirements.) Services, Training, And Other Requirements: About Us: We are an active, health conscious, education conscious, and spiritual family. We place a high value in pretty much anything that goes against the 'mainstream' opinions of such. * Please do not apply if you do not hold the same standards/values that follow! : * My daughter is currently enrolled in a Montessori school and we highly encourage the same practices at home. We also embrace other 'alternative' parenting/schooling methods. Including but definitely not limited to: no spanking or timeouts, giving the child age appropriate responsibility, and the freedom of choice and self expression. We also believe kids are allowed to have bad days, just like us adults, and though we correct real problems as they arise, if she is just tired and cranky or moody, we prefer more of a compassionate and empathetic approach. As much as money allows, we believe in the importance of organic and non-gmo food and try to incorporate healthy eating/living into our daily lives. Minimal sugar, artificial dyes, and processed foods, no sodas, grass-fed and pasture raised livestock or wild game or fish, raw and whole foods as much as possible. If we or my daughter get sick, we completely believe in the body's ability to fight off bacteria and viruses naturally and will give ourselves the chance to do so before any prescriptions are written. **Point of controversy: we Do NOT vaccinate. Nor will we vaccinate any future children.** We are not the religious type. If you are, that's great! But please no subtle and secret influences on my daughter or trying to push your beliefs on us, as we will not do that to you. <3 Like-minded individuals are encouraged, but anyone is loved an accepted no matter your personal beliefs. We also enjoy physical activities and spending time outdoors. And are extreme lovers of the arts and music! About You: No degree/professional schooling/certificates required. No age requirements. (Only that you are physically willing and able to handle our busy and active lifestyles, and hopefully for many years to come!) Knowledge and ability to teach: musical instruments/multiple languages/dance/self-defense/vocal lessons/etc. are a MAJOR bonus! Brownie points for multiples!! XD FirstAid/CPR certified preferred as well as maintainence of that status. MUST PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK! And there will be cameras Friendly demeanor and personality a must! Holistic, alternative medicine, & 420 friendly. Be okay with cats and dogs. (We have 6 cats and 1 small dog.) Be a positive influence on not only my daughter, but on all of us. Willingness to adopt all of us as family <3 Other Things to Consider: I am currently leasing my house until July 31st, 2020. When that lease expires, as it stands now, we are looking to move into a house in Decatur (a very nice area) that is currently being renovated by myself and my fiance. THIS IS A POTENTIAL LONG TERM POSITION. We are essentially looking for someone that could become an addition to the family and would consider moving in with us when my daughter and I move. *There is potential for a variance in schedule from what was previously listed. I am looking to enroll my daughter in dance classes and gymnastics. If that is the case, school pick up may shift from 5/6pm to 230/3pm to allot for those extracurriculars. We would also greatly appreciate the willingness and ability to organize and maintain the home, and prep/cook food for the family. As it stands, the offer is free room and board in exchange for nanny services. Utilities, TV, and internet will be provided including subscription services, as well as your own room, closet, full bathroom, and access to laundry and storage. If you have the abilities and are willing to become a full-service, stay-at-home, part of the family-nanny, other terms of compensation are open for discussion. Flexibility will be necessary. My fiance and I both work in the film/entertainment industry and have long and odd hours. We also have the ability to work when we desire to and take vacations/time off whenever we want. That also means the potential for family vacations. (Including you!) My daughter's father is also living nearby, works longs hours, and does play an active part in her life.
