Tiger Lily Family Child Care (licensed Family Child Care) located in College Heights. Parents provide food. We are a semi-structured daycare, with story time, circle time, arts and crafts and imagination play. (child’s age and ability is taken into account when planing any activity) We do lots of outdoor time -weather permitting. We have a huge fenced back yard and plenty for children of any age to do, whether its pretending in some imaginative play or playing soccer, looking at the plants and bugs or simply drawing with chalk. We are a licensed family child care with emergency child care first aid and cpr, with certification in the following areas: social skills,helping children express anger, sensory systems, child behaviour, communication skills, and we are a member of the BC Family Child Care Association. As well as plenty of knowledge on children with developmental disabilities. We model appropriate behaviour as well as practice gentle discipline.
