Hi. I am a 27 year old nanny or babysitter looking for part time work. My mentality when is comes to children is to listen and to appreciate them for who they are. Of course, this is more than just a job for me. They grow up so fast! Everyday sculpts who they will become and I consider it a great honor to be a part of that. Naturally, I like getting to know your little person's personality and I like to do that by playing with them, doing crafts, sidewalk chalk and all that fun stuff- or whatever activities are appropriate to their age (finger painting, home work, etc). And while play is fun, safety is the MOST important thing when it comes to children- although, I usually don't have to remind parents of that! I am First Aid and CPR certified but preventing injuries is my first and foremost goal.
