Hello! My name is Jade and I'm 20 years old and I've lived in Missoula since I was 7 years old. Both my parents are teachers for The MCPS district as well as my dad being a coach for one of the highschools. I'm a middle child of 7 with the oldest being 25 and youngest being 9. I grew up helping my mom look after my 3 younger siblings while I was also teased like a younger sibling is to be expected from my 3 older siblings. I'm currently taking the year off from school to work and take a break but I'm studying Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. I currently work at a preschool and have been since February 2018, before that I was a cook at Blue Canyon. Working at a preschool I've jumped from classroom to classroom so I have experience with 2 year olds all the way to 5 year olds. I love what I do and hope to continue it but I am currently looking for a more permanent job outside of the preschool due to some inside issues I do not agree with. My favorite thing when working with kids is teaching them math and science and performing little science experiments. I also love down time where I can actually sit and play with them and watch them interact with other kids. Outside of work I love leaving town for the weekend, I love going on hikes and being outdoors, and one last major thing I like doing is baking/decorating novelty cakes that I occasionally sell through my Facebook page Jade's Sweet Treats.
