Personal Profile: Hello my name is Sonya. I am a stay at home mom who’s last baby has gone off to Kindergarten. I am looking for a part-time position which allows me to be able to pick my children up after school and to be with them while school is out. Description of Skills: I have a Certificate in ECE and 20 years of experience caring for and working with children in both a home and preschool setting. I have a Pediatric CPR/First Aid certification. I aced a college level nutrition class and prepare fun and healthy meals and snacks, while often having the children help, using mealtimes as a learning opportunity. I own a newer 8 seat SUV to provide transportation to fun activities; ie: library story hour, park, play groups, for the young ones or extracurricular activities for older children. I enjoy creating and implementing age-appropriate and educational crafts, activities and lesson plans using the Starfall curriculum as a guide. I also own many and enjoy creating custom educational games to supplement what we are learning at any given time.
